This chart starts at March 2009...
Turquoise = Precious Metals Mutual Fund...(Don't pay attention to the arrow in this chart)
A great note for all markets... "The bull market does what it's supposed to do - advance while leaving most traders and Johnny-come-latelies behind."
Past performance is not indicative of future results.
Turq = PM fund.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the other three plot lines, fuchia, black, and blue?
black is the S&P500 or at least one of the indices.
ReplyDeletepimaCanyon & DanielB...
ReplyDeleteBlack = SPY
Blue = Long Fund
Fuchia = Inverse Fund
Note that the Inverse Fund has the smallest Market Cap in two years...
But, the Long Fund's largest Market Cap was in April 2011...
The bullish ratio of Long Fund to the Long Fund plus the Inverse Fund is at 35% while it was at 32% in April 2011...
So the market is over bought but when is it going to be ready to turn?
Instead of trying to pick the top we would rather use the Trend Following signals.
It worked very well last year and we will continue to use it...
Thanks guys for the comments...
